Richmond Hill, NY - A 14-year-old boy was punched outside of a Kew Gardens yeshiva Sunday evening in a potential antisemitic attack, police said.
The boy was walking home outside of Yeshivath Shaar Hatorah Grodno, 117-06 84th Ave. around 8 p.m. when he was approached by an unknown white man. The man punched the boy in the face and cursed at him, calling the child a “Jew boy,” police said.
The boy received medical attention at the scene. His face was sore and red from the punch, police say. The police did not state whether the boy was a student at the yeshiva.
